摘要: This article analyzes the effect of political participation in electoral process on parties' announced platforms a model competition. The highlights existence class bias that favors groups voters with higher turnout. There exists empirical evidence wealthier economic classes present levels participation. In situation, suggests compulsory voting may be useful mechanism to reduce favor higher-turnout class.
