Calibration of Indoor UWB Sub-band Divided Ray Tracing Using Multiobjective Simulated Annealing

摘要: Sub-band divided ray tracing (RT) has been widely used to reproduce as reliably possible the ultra-wideband (UWB) radio wave propagation channel in realistic indoor environments. However, its accuracy is strictly limited by available description of environment. Moreover, computational complexity scales with number selected subbands and paths. In present work, our RT tool considers not only deterministic paths but also diffuse scattering components. Based on a low-complexity sub-band implementation, we propose calibration method for UWB RT. The estimates optimal material parameters, including dielectric parameters using measurements multiobjective simulated annealing (MOSA). This can improve terms power delay profile (PDP) root mean square (RMS) spread all test locations those considered calibration. A measurement campaign verify technique. © 2014 IEEE.
