摘要: Na,K-ATPase and gastric nongastric H,K-ATPases are the only P-type ATPases of higher organisms that oligomeric associated with a beta subunit, which is obligatory for expression function enzymes. Topogenesis studies suggest subunits have fundamental unique role in K+-transporting they facilitate correct membrane integration packing catalytic subunit these ATPases, necessary their resistance to cellular degradation, acquisition functional properties, routing cell surface. In addition this chaperone function, also participate determination intrinsic transport properties Na,K- H,K-ATPases. Increasing experimental evidence suggests assembly highly ordered, isoform-specific process, mediated by multiple interaction sites contribute coordinate, multistep process structural maturation
