摘要: Abstract Deep current measurements extending over several weeks were made in a small area of the Eastern North Atlantic during summer 1958, and number hydrographic stations occupied same area. The work formed part programme joint British-Norwegian I.G.Y. cruise. currents found to be variable time with periods few weeks, space distance tens miles. In vertical section, velocities did not decrease uniformly depth, no ‘level motion’ was found.
