摘要: Penetration of reactive solute into a soil during cycle water infiltration and redistribution is investigated by deriving analytical closed form solutions for fluid flux, moisture content contaminant concentration. The solution developed gravitational flow advective transport applied to two scenarios applications encountered in the applications: finite pulse dissolved irrigation an instantaneous broadcasted onto surface. Through comparison simulations Richards' flow, capillary suction shown have contrasting effects on upper lower boundaries pulse, speeding penetration wetting front reducing rate drying. This leads agreement between numerical typical field experimental conditions. further incorporated stochastic column model compute mean concentration heterogeneous field. An unusual phenomenon plume contraction observed at long times propagation drying stage. profiles match those Monte-Carlo length scales sandy soils.
