摘要: Adrenal glands in Cushing’s disease (CD) range from normal to showing diffuse enlargement most cases. The finding of nodular lesions has been reported, but information about prevalence and evolution is described few reports. Aim: To investigate the adrenal patients with CD assess its after remission. Subjects methods: We assessed 41 patients’ abdominal computed tomography (CT) scans obtained during active phase evaluated dynamics ACTH cortisol secretion. CT was repeated remission nodules. Results: Fifteen had remaining 26 or enlarged glands. Patients nodules were older (45.1 ±8.8 vs 36.9±12.7 yr; p=0.03) longer-standing (57.3±56.9 32.9±29.1 months; p=0.05) than normal/enlarged (45.4±21.3 70.5±39.1 pg/ml; p=0.04) urinary free levels (606.1 ±512.3 301.0±224.7 µg/day, p=0.01) significantly lower while there no differences between groups terms dynamic tests results. Post-operative follow-up showed regression shrinkage 8 out 10 Conclusions: found that are a frequent particular those disease. Nevertheless, high percentage shrinking evidenced our series
