摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter reveals that connectin, also called titin, is a long, flexible filamentous protein of striated muscle links thick myosin filaments to Z disks in sarcomere. Connectin superthin serve as an elastic component muscle. Therefore, it regarded the fourth type cytoskeletal structure following microtubules, intermediate filaments, and actin filaments. It has been established number structural proteins undergo characteristic changes isoform expression during embryonic neonatal development. The presents investigation connectin isoforms development chick using sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) gel electrophoresis checked by immunoblot technique. Although band was very faint, connectin-like high-molecular-weight detected breast muscles 7-day incubated embryo. There are two ways detect various types tissues or organisms: detection bands 2–3% polyacrylamide gels presence SDS preferably with confirmation immunofluorescence examinations fixed cells.
