摘要: Nucleon transfer reactions in the \(^{238}\)U + system were studied at energies \(E_\mathrm{eff}= 6.3\) MeV/u, \(E_\mathrm{eff} = 6.9\) and 8.0\) respectively. Production of above-target nuclides point to formation products with excitation between 30 40 MeV angular momenta about 18 \(\hbar \), independent bombarding energy. Predictions heavy element production rates up lawrencium (\(Z=103\)) \(^{248}\)Cm showed that yields drop sharply increasing number transferred protons leaving little perspective for possible future new neutron-rich isotopes this reaction. However, a recent theoretical prediction claimed much higher cross sections elements due assumed increased longer sticking times dinuclear system.
