摘要: Entrepreneurial teams often operate under conditions of novelty—the lack familiarity. Novelty can undermine team members' ability to develop the relational capital (trust, identification, and mutual obligation) needed for a venture succeed. Building on research schemas governance interfirm relations, I argue that entrepreneurial counteract challenges novelty by adopting communal (caring about one another' s needs) contracting practices (making expectations explicit transparent).
