摘要: Energy system models have become indispensable to shape future energy systems by providing insights into dierent trajectories. However, sustainable with high shares of renewable are characterised growing crosssectoral interdependencies and decentralised structures. To capture important properties increasingly complex systems, sophisticated exible modelling environments needed. This paper presents the Open Modelling Framework (oemof) as a novel approach in modelling, representation analysis. The framework forms structured set tools sub-frameworks construct comprehensive has been published open source under free licence. Using collaborative development extensive documentation on levels, seeks for maximum level transparency. Based generic graph based description it is well suited exibly model ystems ranging from distributed or urban transnational scale. makes multi-purpose environment strategic planning systems.
