摘要: Abstract Using digital phantoms as an atlas compared to acquiring CT data for internal radionuclide dosimetry decreases patient overall radiation dose and reduces the required analysis effort time organ segmentation. The drawback is that phantom may not match exactly with patient. We assessed effect of varying BMIs on results a bone pain palliation agent, 153Sm-EDTMP. simulation was done using GATE Monte Carlo code. Female XCAT following different were employed: 18.6, 20.8, 22.1, 26.8, 30.3 34.7 kg/m2. S-factors (mGy/MBq.s) SAFs (kg−1) calculated from major source organs including spine, ribs, kidney bladder into target well whole body spine. differences in estimates those BMI 26.8 kg/m2 reference, both gamma beta radiations. relative (RD) or values reference calculated. RDs greater than 10% 100% frequent radiations photon particles, respectively. 15.4%, 7%, 4.2%, −9.8% −1.4% 34.7 kg/m2, 34.7 kg/m2 39.5%, 19.4%, 8.8%, −7.9% −4.3%, photons particles changes substantially use BMIs. change important calculation can prescribed therapeutic Thus better matched suggested purposes where closer actual are required.
