摘要: Abstract: In the present paper, impingement of air jet on a heated flat platesubjected to periodic oscillation is numerically and experimentally investigated. The motivation research desire enhance heat transfercharacteristics during cooling process plate which can be foundin many relevance industrial applications. order improve transfercharacteristics, novel idea utilized, where periodical movementin form sine wave produced from Scotch yoke mechanism applied theheated plate. The obtained numerical results showed good agreement withthe performed experimental measurements. Moreover, an increase Nusseltnumber oscillated in comparison with that froma fixed This reveals enhancement transfer characteristics aheated as result movement. Keywords: Numerical simulation, Experimental measurements, Jet impingement, heat transfer, periodically oscillating plate, turbulence modeling.1 IntroductionRecently, technology surfaces has re-ceived great attention due its effectiveness andengineering applications, such as: photovoltaic cells [Royne Dey(2004)], electronics [Narumanchi, et al. (2003)], steel making process[Viskanta Incropera (1990)], gas turbine blades [Liu Feng (2011)],and even food-processing operations [Sarkar, (2006)]. Consequently, ex-tensive researches have been carried out over several decades explore thermo-
