Formation of lead-aluminate ceramics: Reaction mechanisms in immobilizing the simulated lead sludge.

摘要: We investigated a strategy of blending lead-laden sludge and an aluminum-rich precursor to reduce the release hazardous lead from stabilized end products. To quantify transformation determine its incorporation behavior, PbO was used simulate fired with γ-Al2O3 by Pb/Al molar ratios 1/2 1/12 at 600-1000 °C for 0.25-10 h. The sintered products were identified quantified using Rietveld refinement analysis X-ray diffraction data generated under different conditions. results indicated that crystallochemical incorporations occurred through formation PbAl2O4 PbAl12O19 in systems 1/12, respectively. observed as only product phase temperature 950 3h heating system. For system, significant growth clearly 1000 3 h sintering.
