摘要: The Tertiary VP sites of Czechoslovakia cover the time span since late Eocene with gaps in middle-late Oligocene and Miocene (MP 22-MN 2; MN 7, 8, 10–13). Neogene faunal sequence includes occurrences general importance: (1) 3b fauna riparian gallery forest base brown coal seam north Bohemian basin, (2) superposition 4 assemblages profile Cheb basin hanging main seam: Dolnice 1–3 (MN 4a-MN 4b) Franzensbad 5); faunas belong to same type environment, (3) marine littoral-deltaic Ořechov — correlated 3 underlying Rzehakia (Oncophora) beds, contributes correlation Ottnangian stage Paratethys, (4) Devinska Nova Ves (Neudorf an der March) is directly linked near coastal environment Badenian stage; karstic fillings (Spalte 1–3) rich small large mammalian remains are twice transgressed: sediments two subsequence zones: (a) Lageniden zone after a short regression (b) Bulimina-Bolivina zone; deltaic littoral sands latter transgression (site Neudorf-Sandberg) produced remains.
