摘要: During the last decade, there have been remarkable changes in food waste management Korea following a ban on direct landfilling. To evaluate environmental impacts of systems, we examined individual treatment systems with LCA approach – landfill, incineration, composting, and feed manufacturing estimated change from 1997 to 2005. The efficient system was different each impact category, but it evaluated that landfill is main contributor human toxicity global warming (based fossil CO2). In contrast, due increase recycling, acidification, eutrophication, fresh water aquatic ecotoxicity increased. Especially, high energy consumption generated residue recycling caused large burdens categories.
