摘要: Abstract In this chapter, the preclinical applications of several molecular pathology technologies in advancing drug discovery and development are discussed, including immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, situ hybridization RNAScope, tissue microarrays, laser-capture microscopy, toxicogenomics, biomarkers, digital imaging, stereology, microRNA analysis. Examples provided to illustrate utility each specific technology for identification, characterization, elucidation pathogenetic mechanism(s) drug-related alterations.
