摘要: The design and performance of a fixed-tuned W-band SIS mixer with wide band IF 4.0-7.5 GHz is presented. Waveguide-to-stripline transition the designed using lumped-gap-source port provided by HFSSTM. Measured receiver noise temperature less than 25 K in frequency range 95-120 GHz, minimum value around 19 achieved. Mixer determined to be about 8.5 K, which twice quantum limit (i.e., 2hw/k). In spite high frequencies (f0 = 6 GHz), comparable or even superior those best mechanically-tunable waveguide receivers at low 1.5 GHz). This result suggests that it easy waveguide-to-stripline transitions without scale-model measurements.
