摘要: Plausible forms of fluoride (F) responsible for the persistence toxicity in ground water a granitic terrain semi-arid region, which is main source drinking water, have been studied. The study area Anantapur District Andhra Pradesh, India, one chronic regions with excess groundwater and region under transformation into aridity due to poor rainfall over-exploitation groundwater. Geochemical analysis soil, groundwater, rock samples revealed presence other toxic elements also addition need be addressed sector near future. Soil leaching experiments demonstrated probable mode mobilization F through natural recharge process during monsoon. Analysis saturation indices indicates that fluorite solubility alone not attributable high content flow controls as it evidenced concentration electrical conductivity increase from catchment downstream region. Creation lesser sources rainwater harvesting artificial areas suggested long-term sustainable safe strategy.
