摘要: Abstract Currently, the food packaging industry presents one of fastest growing industries globally. One most serious concerns in is reducing environmental burdens by waste or replacing non-biodegradable plastic materials with eco-friendly biopolymer-based to ensure safety and extend shelf life packaged food. The advent nanotechnology has recently been applied overcome these challenges issues. Developing nanocomposite-based mixing nanofillers biopolymers way enhance performance properties further its functionality. Various types organic inorganic nanomaterials antimicrobial activity act as active ingredients when mixed polymer prevent microbial contamination foods. This chapter applications microbiology concerning packaging.
