摘要: Light signals perceived by the phytochrome (phy) family of photoreceptors control gene expression at both transcriptional and posttranscriptional levels to promote photomorphogenesis. Recently, we identified a factor called SPLICING FACTOR FOR PHYTOCHROME SIGNALING (SFPS) that directly interacts with photoreceptor phyB regulates pre-mRNA splicing in Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana). To identify SFPS-interacting proteins, performed an immunoprecipitation followed mass spectrometry Ser/Arg-like protein REDUCED RED-LIGHT RESPONSES IN CRY1CRY2 BACKGROUND1 (RRC1). Genetic analyses revealed sfps-2 rrc1-3 phenotypes are similar those single mutants, suggesting RRC1 SFPS might function together. RNA sequence large number genes whose is altered under dark light conditions. Comparison data subset common coregulated Similar SFPS, also phyB, colocalizes nuclear photobodies, light-dependent genes. Taken together, these suggest although can regulate distinct subsets genes, they form complex coordinately involved signaling circadian clock pathways
