摘要: The experimental program reported in this paper was planned to investigate the influence of thickness compression head on fracture reinforced concrete T-beams. Particularly, we wanted corroborate numerical predictions by Ruiz and Carmona (G. J.R. Carmona, Mater. & Struct. 39, pp. 343-352, 2006) indicating that such effect is analogous size process, i.e. strength beam should vary differently than expected according traditional mechanics. Besides, case T-beams, initiation crack propagation through also generate a secondary load-peak. To do chose scaled T-beams made out micro-concrete whose varied width from limit T becoming rectangle having headthickness equal length depth. mechanical properties as well steel re-bars interface between two materials were all obtained independent tests. results demonstrate cited correct, since get shape-effect curve for resembles variations due changes size. beginning provokes load-peak, although it milder predicted numerically.
