摘要: Over roughly the past decade, a large number of generalizations von Neumann-Morgenstern (1944) expected-utility (EU) theory choice under risk and Savage (1954) subjective-expected-utility (SEU) uncertainty have appeared; see Machina (1987) Fishburn (1988, 1989) for recent surveys. These generalized models constitute boon empiricists since they collectively accommodate persistently observed thoughtful behaviors, such as those identified by Allais (1953) Ellsberg (1961), that are paradoxical within EU or SEU framework. Indeed, currently active topic behavioral decision is to discriminate amongst (see Camerer, 1992).
