摘要: A method and apparatus which are capable of controlling the motion a rotor body fragment after failure has occurred within centrifuge assembly comprises body, chamber lid. The moment can be controlled such that it moves along away from lid by any following: (a) adjusting center gravity is below strike point plane rotor; (b) shape to conform shape; (c) sloping guard ring lower portion furthest chamber; (d) varying strength or stiffness at above fragment; (e) adding member top body.
