摘要: Cloud-network slicing is a promising approach to serve vertical industries delivering their services over multiple administrative and technological domains. However, there are numerous open challenges provide end-to-end slices due complex business engineering requirements from service resource providers. This article presents reference architecture for the cloud-network concept practical realization of slice-as-a-service paradigm, which key results Novel Enablers in Cloud Slicing (NECOS) project. The NECOS platform has been designed consider modularity, separation concerns, multi-domain dynamic operation as prime attributes. comprises set interworking components automatically create, manage, decommission slice instances lightweight manner. orchestrates at runtime, spanning across core/edge data centers wired/wireless network infrastructures. novelties validated through three proof-of-concept experiments: (i) touristic content delivery deployment featuring on-demand virtual infrastructure management countries on different continents meet particular requirements; (ii) intelligent elasticity driven by machine learning techniques; (iii) market-place-based discovery capabilities.
