摘要: We conducted a comprehensive review and meta-analysis of research regarding feeding problems nutrient status among children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). The systematic search yielded 17 prospective studies involving comparison group. Using rigorous techniques, we calculated the standardized mean difference (SMD) standard error corresponding odds ratio (OR) 95 % confidence intervals (CI). Results indicated ASD experienced significantly more versus peers, an overall SMD 0.89 (0.08) OR 5.11, CI 3.74–6.97. Nutrient analyses lower intake calcium (SMD: −0.65 [0.29]; OR: 0.31, 0.11–0.85) protein −0.58 [0.25]; 0.35, CI: 0.14–0.56) in ASD. Future must address critical questions cause, long-term impact, remediation atypical this population.
