摘要: Abstract This paper examines the prospects for interactive governance of water and land use following an initiative to institutionalise integrated river basin management. Taking institutionalist perspective it first presents management as a tool overcoming problems spatial fit institutional interplay over use. A case study implementation EU Water Framework Directive in Germany then explores opportunities requirements future On basis these findings tests validity thesis that success policy reform depends on degree ‘fit’ with existing structures practices.
