摘要: Abstract Incidence of a physiological disorder expressed as flesh browning ‘Empire’ apples ( Malus sylvestris (L.) Mill var. domestica (Borkh.) Mansf.) during controlled atmosphere storage can be increased by treatment fruit with 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP). Flesh incidence develops earlier in the stem-end than calyx-end region fruit. In this study, color, activities polyphenol oxidase (PPO) and peroxidase (POX), total phenolic concentrations two tissue zones stored under CA conditions for 36 weeks have been investigated from harvests (H1 H2), apart. was similar both after storage. At harvest, PPO activity higher calyx- tissues while POX only at H1. During storage, average were overall H2 H1, tissues. However, inconsistent patterns change found response to 1-MCP time. Total harvest H1 but Overall, no evidence close involvement phenolics and/or development disorders detected study.
