摘要: We have demonstrated the transmission of data-coded optical soliton pulse at bit-rate 5 Gb/s over a few thousand kilometers. Ultra-short pulses generated with sinusoidally driven electroabsorption modulator and DFB-LD that were approximately hyperbolic-secant squared shape transmitted through fiber. Both recirculating loop lines straight used for experiments. The width was maintained well 6,000 km in experiment. Three-thousand-km stable achieved using straight-line setup Gb/s, although average fiber chromatic dispersion deviated slightly from optimum value. results indicate possibility system multi-thousand-km communication systems. >
