摘要: FEpX is a modeling framework for computing the elastoplastic deformations of polycrystalline solids. Using framework, one can simulate mechanical behavior aggregates crystals, referred to as virtual polycrystals, over large strain deformation paths. This article presents theory, finite element formulation, and important features numerical implementation that collectively define framework. The also provides several examples simulating solids illustrate possible applications There an associated code, FEpX, based on presented here was used perform simulations in examples. serves citable reference users code.
