摘要: Although somatization disorder and conversion are linked in DSM-III DSM-III-R, they have very different histories. To directly compare these disorders, we reviewed the records accrued for 2 years at a large medical center identified 65 patients 51 patients. They differed substantially. The majority (78%) of nearly all (95%) were women. Ages onset occurred throughout life span among but mostly before age 21 Somatization more likely to had history depression, attempted suicide, panic divorce.
