The aim this project was review guidelines relating CPNs using evidence-based practice (EBP) methods. A search both primary secondary literature performed. Five sets were identified which then methodologically appraised by AGREE II instrument, a validated widely utilised tool for guideline development assessment. 2014 ‘Italian consensus work-up follow-up cystic neoplasms’ found be most sound guidelines, basis overall score average weighted domain score. current best identified. Appraisal Guidelines Research Evaluation (AGREE II) instrument can used retrospective or as roadmap guideline-writing groups. All limited. Further longitudinal/prospective studies required improve level evidence. • encountered entity medicine. Clinical uncertainty remains with regard optimal strategies. Italian currently guidelines.
