摘要: A review is presented of 854 patients suffering from cancer the stomach who attended St Bartholomew's Hospital between 1948 and 1962. The presentations methods investigations showed little change over 15-year period, which similar to other large series. symptoms anaemia indigestion appear be paramount in making an early diagnosis, negative barium meal studies should not accepted when these two are present. There indications that laparotomy a more aggressive surgical approach may increase 5-year survival rate.
