摘要: Parkinson’s disease (PD) is the second most common neurodegenerative disorder. Sleep dysfunction one of non-motor manifestations PD that has gained significant interest over past two decades due to its impact on daily lives patients, poorly understood mechanisms, and limited treatment options. In this review, we discuss sleep disorders in present recent investigations have broadened our understanding epidemiology, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, disturbed alertness PD. The etiology impaired sleep-wake cycles multifactorial. encompasses insomnia, REM behavior disorder, sleep-disordered breathing, restless legs syndrome, circadian dysregulation. Despite high prevalence PD, evidence supporting efficacy strategies limited. We are at opportune time advance which will hopefully lead mechanisms-driven interventions for better allow us approach as a modifiable therapeutic target other motor
