摘要: Summary Understanding how the impacts of climate change are likely to modify individual well-being in future is crucial for developing mitigation and adaptation strategies. Despite its importance, little known about day-to-day weather on subjective nations. To fill this gap, we use over 400 million geotagged posts across 43 users from social media Weibo China, coupled with meteorological conditions people face when posting, estimate climatic factors influence people's real-time expressed sentiment. We find that extreme worsens emotional expressions media. Females individuals poorer cities more responsive unpleasant temperatures. The centralized winter heating North China effectively increases individuals' resilience against cold temperatures, whereas measures air-conditioning prevalence do not show a substantial effect summer. Our projections indicate potentially harmful global warming well-being.
