Primary Hyperaldosteronism as a Possible Cause of Secondary Fibromyalgia

摘要: Background: Some diseases may produce a clinical condition which resembles fibromyalgia syndrome (FS). Findings: A case with FS, concomitant and possibly secondary to primary hyperaldosteronism, is presented. Operative treatment of the disease significatly relieved FS symptons. Conclusions: Measurement serum potassium would be reasonable inclusion in diagnostic investigations especially hypertensive cases.
