摘要: Ochratoxin A (OTA) is a mycotoxin with nephrotoxic, teratogenic and immunotoxic properties which represents serious risk for human animal health. Aspergillus carbonarius considered the main OTA-producing species in grapes products such as raisins, wine or juices, although it has also been isolated from coffee, cocoa cereals. Till now not much information available about regulatory mechanisms of OTA production by A. carbonarius. better understanding how environmental factors influence genes are involved its regulation could help us design new control strategies. In this study, we have evaluated role VeA LaeA transcriptional factors, shown to regulate secondary metabolism response light To aim, veA laeA were deleted an ochratoxigenic strain targeted gene replacement using Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation. Loss yields organism slight differences vegetative growth but strong reduction conidial production. drastic decrease that ranged 68.5 99.4% ΔveA ΔlaeA null mutants was observed, correlated downregulation nonribosomal peptide synthetase biosynthesis. These findings suggest important regulating conidiation biosynthesis similar way other fungi where functions previously described. This first report factor governing
