摘要: A numerical model simulating the behaviour of elliptical concrete-filled columns under either concentric or eccentric compressive load has been developed in ABAQUS. The results have compared against a range experimental for ultimate load, load–deflection and failure modes, with good agreement observed. An extensive parametric study undertaken whereby slenderness, eccentricity, cross-sectional geometry reinforcement ratio were varied, creating data set upon which to formulate design guidance since currently there are no specific provisions European Standard EN 1994-1-1[1] steel section beam-columns. It is shown that current circular rectangular cross-section also appropriate members cross-section, employing buckling curve b c, depending on level reinforcement. Finally, an assessment made reliability proposals hollow
