摘要: Biomass, litterfall, litter standing crop, and decomposition was studied in a native subtropical alluvial forest locally known as Selva Marginal (SM) an exotic Ligustrum lucidum (LF) at the Reserva Integral de Punta Lara, Buenos Aires Province, 34°47′S 58°1′W. The site southern limit of distribution forests South America. invading disturbed areas. Total biomass 147.7 Mg/ha (86% aboveground 14% belowground) SM, 71.4 (93% 7%, respectively) LF. Litterfall 10.3 Mg/ha·yr 13.8 respectively. Annual leaf rate greater for (k=4.07) than SM species (k=1.48). mean residence time 12 yr 5 k1 values (litterfall/standing crop) were 1.9 2.0 LF influence coastal road wall hydroperiod, forested wetland ecosystem survival invasion is discussed.
