摘要: ABSTRACTCO2 adsorption on synthetic zeolites has become a consolidated approach for biogas upgrading to biomethane. As an alternative zeolites, tuff waste from building industry was investigated in this study: indeed, material is available at low price and contains high fraction of natural zeolites. A selective CO2 H2S towards CH4 confirmed, allowing obtain high-purity biomethane (CO2 <2 g m−3, i.e. 0.1%; <1.5 mg m−3), suitable injection national grids or as vehicle fuel. The loading capacity found be 45 g kg−1 40 mg kg−1, H2S, respectively. Synthetic gas mixtures real samples were used, no significant effects due impurities (e.g. humidity, dust, moisture, etc.) observed. Thermal vacuum regenerations also optimized confirmed possible, without variations efficiency. Hence, tuffs may successfully used pressure/vacuum swing adsorption...
