Inflammatory pseudotumors of the lung: Progression from organizing pneumonia to fibrous histiocytoma or to plasma cell granuloma in 32 cases

摘要: Clinicopathologic findings in 32 cases of inflammatory pseudotumor the lung are described. Depending on major histopathologic features, divided into three groups: Organizing pneumonia type (44%), fibrous histiocytoma and lymphoplasmacytic (12%). has intraalveolar lymphohistiocytic inflammation which converts to fibrosis peripherally interstitial centrally because a proliferation fibroblasts. Fibrous predominant spindle cells histiocytes storiform pattern, with loss alveolar architecture. Lymphoplasmacytic predominance lymphocytes plasma little fibrosis.
