摘要: A study of the mechanism corrosion inhibition mild steel by imidazolines and their precursors in a CO{sub 2} containing environment is carried out using Rotating Cylinder Electrode (RCE) Linear Polarization Resistance (LPR) technique. Corrosion rate-time/concentration profiles minimum effective concentrations (MEC) obtained for series amides are discussed terms respective contributions constituent parts (imidazoline ring, amide/amine group, hydrocarbon chain) to overall inhibition. The formation inhibitor film described bilayer/multilayer model.
