摘要: Abstract This work reports the tribological performance of a self-lubricating epoxy-PTFE coating modified with oxidized graphene nanoplatelets (GNPox) and 1-decyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide [DMIM][NTf 2 ] ionic liquid, alone in combination. was incorporated without encapsulation, which is shown not to hinder adhesion for tested applications. Crossed-cylinders testing coatings under different load conditions showed synergistic effects from combination GNPox liquid. The liquid introduced plasticizing effect on binder, increasing actual contact area facilitating boundary-lubrication. boundary-lubrication regime facilitated particle orientation reduction their abrasive behaviour, contributing lowered coefficient friction.
