摘要: Abstract The temporal and spatial features of the Portevin–Le Chatelier plastic instabilities in single polycrystals Al–Mg alloys were investigated systematically, with special emphasis being put on character statistical distributions stress drops. effect strain rate, temperature microstructural state alloy was studied experimentally. It shown that an experimentally accessible quantity, flow stress, governs to a large extent observed correlation between variation type serrations drop distributions. Computer simulations carried out using simple coupling model. demonstrated salient complex spatio-temporal behaviour for different states are adequately reproduced by A comparison experimental data simulation results suggests stems from incompatibilities.
