Waveguide-excited slot arrays for synthetic array radar applications

摘要: The basic design considerations for waveguide slottery arrays are reviewed, with emphasis on those requirements that most significant to both airborne and spaceborne synthetic array radar (SAR) systems. As an illustration of procedures performance capability slotted planar arrays, L-band was designed, fabricated, tested. This has aperture approximately one meter wide by two meters high designed be a typical submodule larger antenna. Measurements radiation patterns, gain, VSWR were recorded presented, together the characteristics predicted basis theoretical analysis.
