摘要: Novel heterogeneous bi-functional catalysts bearing tin or zinc inserted as single sites within the silica architecture acting acid centres and decorated with imidazolium moieties nucleophile source were successfully synthesized. The materials extensively characterized via various techniques including N2 physisorption, solid state nuclear magnetic resonance, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy adsorption microcalorimetry. solids tested for conversion of carbon dioxide, selecting synthesis styrene carbonate target reaction. Both exhibited improved performances compared to analogous functionalized sole salt well other reported in literature. Sn-based catalyst displayed excellent also presence epoxides. In all experiments allowed reducing reaction temperature below 150 °C. glycidol was decreased down 30 short protocol catalysts, together 100% atom economy low temperature, make entire process highly sustainable. Moreover, stable under selected conditions reusable multiple catalytic cycles.
