摘要: Human enterovirus species A (HEV-A) is one of the four HEV in genus Enterovirus family Picornaviridae. Among HEV-A, coxsackievirus A16 (CVA16) and 71 (EV71) are major causative agents hand, foot, mouth disease (HFMD). Some other types HEV-A commonly associated with herpangina. Although HFMD herpangina due to common febrile diseases among infants children, EV71 can cause various neurological diseases, such as aseptic meningitis fatal encephalitis. Recently, two human transmembrane proteins, P-selectin glycoprotein ligand-1 (PSGL-1) scavenger receptor class B, member 2 (SCARB2), were identified functional receptors for CVA16. In vitro infection experiments using prototype strains, PSGL-1 SCARB2 could be responsible specific However, involvement both vivo infections clinical isolates has not been clarified yet. To elucidate a diverse array outcome HEV-A-associated identification characterization may provide useful information understanding pathogenesis at molecular level.
