摘要: Living donor kidney transplantation occurs when a person willingly donates to in need. As such, it involves two values that medical ethicists look upon with great esteem: autonomy and altruism. Autonomy stands as one of the fundamental factors influencing ethical decisions. According Beauchamp Walters (1), principle can be formulated follows: “Insofar an autonomous agent’s actions do not infringe on others, should free perform whatever action he or she wishes (presumably even if considerable risk himself herself others consider foolish)” (1).
