摘要: Abstract We investigated the effect of dietary supplementation with secoisolariciresinol diglycoside (SDG), a lignan precursor isolated from flaxseed, on experimental metastasis B16BL6 murine melanoma cells in C57BL/6 mice. Four diets were compared: basal diet (control group) and supplemented SDG at 73, 147 or 293 μmol/kg (equivalent to provided 2.5, 5 10% flaxseed diet). Mice fed for 2 weeks before after an intravenous injection 0.6×10 tumor cells. At necropsy, number size tumors that formed lungs determined. The median control group was 62, those SDG-supplemented groups 38, 36 29, respectively. last significantly different ( P
