摘要: Sepsophis punctatus Beddome 1870, the only species of a monotypic genus, was described based on single specimen from Eastern Ghats India. We rediscovered specimens Odisha and Andhra Pradesh state, India, after gap 137 years, including four close to type locality. The holotype studied in detail, we present additional morphological characters with details natural history, habitat diet. along two collected by are compared us. also briefly discuss distribution other members subfamily Scincinae their evolutionary affinities.
