摘要: Some models used to describe the experimental diffraction pattern observed in icosahedral quasicrystals, are presented. Particular atention is given interpretation of patterns terms regular crystals higher dimensions. Two special cases, Fibonacci chain and two dimensional Penrose lattice discussed detail. The electronic structure these analyzed within tight–binding Hamiltonian. Results for local density states behavior wave functions, chains, using renormalization techniques discussed. In case systems, clusters various sizes, generated by deflation rules, calculated. techniques, continued fraction method cluster Bethe method, solve equations motion Green function.
